Ruby's Birthday

One day on Ruby's birthday Ruby and her mum and her dad went to the park for a BBQ. " Mum, Dad look at my pink and pretty balloon!" Ruby shouted. But then Ruby started to run but her balloon slipped out of her hand. Ruby was so upset "I'm going to get my balloon myself," Ruby said. Ruby climbed up but she got stuck!. "Mum! HELP! HELP!" Ruby shouted. Mum tried but she got stuck half way up the big tall tree. They both called for help. Dad helped them down. He got two men and climbed on their shoulders. Dad got them down. When he got mum and Ruby down he, mum and Ruby were so happy to be on the ground. When Ruby was walking to her dad Ruby said to him " Can we still have my birthday? " Her dad said yes so they all had their BBQ.

Me And My Sister

My sisters name is Moana-Lee. She looks the same as me because we are identical twins. She is very nice and has lots of friends. We love to play on our trampoline together. She is better at sports because she likes to train a lot. I love my sister because she is always there for me.

Hiwi The Kiwi

A few weeks ago a man called The Minstral came to our school to teach us some tips about fishing.

One of the things he taught us was if you find a big snapper under 30cm you have to put it in the water. You have to put it in the water because it might be a baby and you want to kill a baby? (AND YOU HAVE TO PUT IT IN THE WATER)

Another thing he taught us was WEAR A LIFE JACKET. Even if you're strong like The Hulk and can swim, still wear a life (it's for your safety.)

It was fun with The Minstral because he taught us a song called Kai Moana.

Cross Country

Last week on Friday it was cross country day. The first to race was the girls. But before we raced we had to do a warm up so we don't get a stitch. When we were doing the race I got butterflies. When we started to run I passed eleven or ten people. We had to go out of school and into Mountfort Park. We went around one time then went into school and went around to the finish line. When I got to the finish line I beat my sister because I came fifth and she came sixth. The cross country was awseome and cool.

Going to the snow

Last week my mum took me and my sister to a bach so then we could to play in snow. When we went there, it was so cool. When we went to go to the hill me and my sister had to sit in the boot so then the other people could fit in the car. It was cool because we made a snowman. Our step mum said we can eat the snow, we also ate ice sicles. It was really cool and when we got home I went into a hot pool. I really liked the snow.

My Library Book

Last week when we went to the library everyone had to pick new books for our desk. The book I picked was Diary of a Wimpy Kid - Rodrick Rules. I am only up to page 13. This is a very cool book. At the back there is a picture of him on the toilet. It is a good book.

Finding Dory

This year a new movie named Finding Dory is coming out in a few weeks and my aunty said that we could go and see it. The person who plays Dory is Ellen from the Ellen show. The movie is about Dory trying to find her family, But then Dory finds her friends. In the movie Marlin and Nemo the clown fish go to find Dory.My favourite fish in the movie is Dory and her octopus friend. I hope it is a good movie when I go and see it.

Mangere mountain

On the Queen's birthday me, my dad, my sister, my uncle and my cousin went to Mangere  Mountain. When we got there some men were playing soccer on the field. When we were going up there was lots of poo, the poo belonged to the cows. When we were climbing up one tall mountain I started to crawl because it was very high. When we went down the last mountain we had to go home.

Making Cake

In the weekend me and my sister were making cake with my aunty. We made vanilla cake. We had to wait a little while so our aunty could set the things up. I was so excited when we were about to start. When we were baking it was very messy because I kept mixing it too hard and it kept going on my t-shirt. When I was having a test of it, it was very yummy in my tummy. It was very fun making cake.

Dogs

My favourite pets are dogs. Dogs are very soft. I used to have two dogs but one of them died. The one that died was named  Flash,he was very big. But the one that didn't die is named Honey Bee. I love dogs.

Star Butterfly

Star butterfly is a princess and is from star vs the forces of evil . She has pretty blond hair and cool dresses. My favourite thing about her is that she can do magic. She is very cool and crazy and that's why I like her .

Minecraft

In the weekend me and my sister went to our aunty's house to play minecraft.  We love to build. My five year old cousin can build better things than us. Our cousin builds better than us because she's on minecraft every weekend. One time me and my sister made a big emerald  house. One time we found a cool hidden castle in a jungle. Then when it was six o'clock we had to get off it because we had to go home.

Ice skating

Last week in the holidays me and my family went ice skating. The only people that was ice skating was me, my sister, my cousin and my Papa. My Nana didn't want to ice skate because the last time she did she fell in the middle. When I first went on the ice I could not move so my Papa had to hold my hand and he had to skate for me  But after a little while I got the hang of it then I decided to go in the middle. When they had to clean the ice my Nana went to the cafe and got us some chips and a hot chocolate. When they finished a man put some snow on the ground for the kids to play with. I went to play in the snow and I made a snowman. After a little while we had to go home.

Batman vs Superman

Two weeks ago me, my cousin, my two aunty's , my other cousin and my papa went to see the new movie Batman vs Superman. We had to go and see it because it was for our prize giving. My uncle got me an ice-cream but......... I didn't eat because it was chocolate inside because when my aunty asked me which one I wanted I thought she meant the outside. When I was watching the movie I almost screamed in the middle of the movie. The coolest bit in the movie was when Wonder Woman came in. The movie was scary but cool at the same. When the movie was finished our aunty said that we can play one game. When we finished our game we had to go home and get changed. 

Easter

On Easter me and my sister are going to have a Easter egg hunt. My dad is inviting one of my cousins. My dad said the cousin that might be coming to our house is my cousin called Laylin. Laylin is a girl and she is thirteen years old she also has a step-sister named Mia and a real sister named Naya. Me and my cousin are having an Easter egg hunt in our back yard. But..... the only hard bit is trying to get our dog to stop eating the eggs. Easter is going to be so cool and fun.

Mobile

Last week we made mobiles. When we made the mobiles we had to  colour it in. We had to write our name in block letters. We made little cards to hang on our mobile. I draw some pretty patterns. When I finished Miss Craig hung it up and it looked so cool.

At the beach

On Sunday I went to the Keratai Beach. I went there with my dad, my sister and my aunty. My aunty's is Rita. I got pushed by a big wave. It was my aunty's first time going to a beach with waves. We made a big rock pool. The water was so cold when I first got in. My sister almost got hit by a man on his boogy board.When we went on our boogy board we went on big waves. When we went for a last swim my feet and hip hurt. My dad told me to go to the small side. But when I got there my aunty was there so then I went to her and she made me a mermaid tail. My dad made my sister one. After my aunty and dad finished we took photos.When we were going home me and my sister had some lollys and chips and we had share with my aunty and dad. It was so cool and fun at the beach.

If I could make the rules they would be....

1. The teacher will pick 5 people to go to a new pillow room!

2. At break one everyone will get a massive ice cream!

3. Good kids get no homework for a month

4. Bad  kids have to 150 lines every day

5. Everyone will get a phone

6. You can bring cool pets to school

7. If you have a sister you can wear mufti

That's the rules I'd make.

Swimming

Last week we went swimming. It was hard because I had to float on my back and use my arms. I like it when we get out of the pool and get changed. After we get changed we go back to class for break.

Word puzzle

We have been learning about word puzzle. I had to see how much my spelling words cost. I thought that it was cool.
